The first air liner, carrying farepaying passengers from London to Kenya Colony, leaves Croydon in January for Nairobi. The fare will bo £3OO single and £6OO return. FIRST LIGHT ’PLANE TAXI. The first two-seater Armstrong-Siddelev-Avian light ’plane has been added to the Imperial Airways’ tax*’plane fleet to enable .a single, passenger to fly in Britain or to the Continent at a reduced rate. SEVEN MILES A MINUTE EXPECTED FROM SEAPLANE.
The engine of Darcy Grieg’s seaplane lias been altered to enable him to obtain 4.000 revolutions a minute obtaining a possible speed. of seven miles a minute in a preliminary dive before entering a measured straight course.
