A moderate anticyclone is moving over the northern Tasman, the centre of which is likely to pass north of the Dominion. A depression is advancing from the western Tasman Sea. Moderate to strong but decreasing southerly winds north of Farewell Spit and Capo Campbell; elsewhere freshening northerhes prevailing and later northerly winds becoming general. Seas rising on the ' west, coast,; elsewhere rough but decreasing in New Zealand watcis; moderate to strong and increasing west to north winds in the eastern Tasman Sea. with rising seas and an isolated shower or two in the uorthern and east eoast district.
