VESSEL SUNK IN CHANNEL
CAPTAIN’S WIPE AND FOUR MEN DROWNED. (Australian Press Association.’' (Received Oct. 31, 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 31. A collision occurred off the Lizard between the British steamer Mansepool and the Horn from Riga. Tlie latter sank in Eve minutes. The captain’s wife, three engineers and a fireman were drowned. Ten wore saved.
