SHOP AND RESIDENCE DESTROYED AT NUHAKA

.Pi-wig Association.l AVAIROA, Oct. 30. A fire early this morning completely destroyed a shop and residence owned and occupied by R.. . S. Herbert, draper, of Nuhaka. Practically nothing was saved. The origin of tho fire is unknown, and the insurances are unavailable at present. Clough’s baker shop and residence, which adjoined Herbert’s premises, narrowly escaped a similar fate, being scorched and having tho windows broken.
