The Waimea left Auckland yesterday with cargo for Gisborne and Napier. She is due here to-morrow to discharge, and sails later for Napier. The Kahika, with southern cargo, now at Napier, is due here to-morrow to discharge. On completion here the vessel proceeds to Dunedin direct to load again for Napier and Gisborne, via the usual ports. The Kaituna, with tiontter from Newcastle for Gisborne and Napier, is due here about the middle of November to discharge. The Kaiapoi, from Greymouth with coal for Gisborne, Napier and Wellington, is due here about November S to discharge. The King Edgar, from London with a quantity of asphalt to discharge nt Gisborne, is due here about the middle of November to discharge. The Rimutalia. loading wool and general cargo for London, is due here about November 12. The Gunbar is working the Coast and is expected here to-morrow morning, and will leave in the evening for Napier. The Awahou arrives here on Friday from Auckland, v'a Coast bays, and sails the same evening on the return trip north. The Mako is due here on Friday from Wellington. The Ivoau sailed yesterday with wool for Napier. The Tiroa arrives here to-morrow from Auckland, via Hick’s Bay, and sails the same evening on the return trip north. The Elsie Mary is due here tomorrow from Auckland. On completion of discharge the vessel returns to Auckland. MARAMA IN A GALE. PASSENGER DIES DURING BLOW United Press Assn by El. Tel. She arrived with the ensign at half-mast, a passenger, believed to be David Hannah, "having died during, the height of the blow yesterday, The body was brought to Sydney for a post-mortem. Papers in the pockets suggest that deceased was.a resident of Christchurch, and a returned soldier, aged 41. The Mamma’s boarding gangway was carried away and two port-holes of the saloon stove in.
