A remarkable accident of the r 'didn’t know it was loaded” variety occurred at Manly. When yictor Simons was visiting friends lie allowed his three-year-old son to play with a pea rifle without ascertaining if it was loaded. The boy pulled the trigger, and ‘Simons staggered back shot in tile chest. He was taken to hospital, but his injury is not serious.
