A rather deep depression is advancing from the Tasman, while an anti-cyclone is situated over eastern Australia. Moderate to strong northerly winds backing to southerlies soon, and reaching gale force at places. Seas rough generally Hi New Zealand waters; strong northerly winds to gales backing to southerly in the eastern Tasman Sea. with rough seas. Weather unsettled, cloudy and misty with rain in most districts, and some lieaw falls. I bunder probable- at ulaces. Mild temperatures at first, but a cold change setting in soon.
