MOTOR LORRY SOMERSAULTS. SIDE-SHOWMEN INJURED. (Press AB&boiation.} , PAHIATUA, Oct. 27. A serious motor accident' occurred this afternoon in front, of Mr R. P. Smith’s residence on the main road between Mangatainoka and Ngawapurua. The rear tyre on the left side of a lorry containing a sideshow returning from Ofrterton burst and the lorry somersaulted. The injured are Roy Rix, the driver, who has severe cuts and bruises, Pat O’Brien, who has an injured ankle. Fred Habb'gan, a broken shoulder blade, and Tom Burke and Barney Worth, each with a broken arm. The men were sent to hospital. The lorry belonged to Staig’s Enterprises. Rix O'Brien and Burke were seated in the cab. the other two being on Top of the load. The affair comprised a merry-go-round. S’dc show, and chair-o-plano. Barney Worth, a man of unusual physical proportions, fared the worst.
