Remaining in an outdoor pool here for 65 hours 2 minutes, Janies Cherry, a former navy swimmer, set a new world, endurance record. Emerging unassisted, he performed stunts for the talking movies.
The previous' 1 record was 61 hours 50 minutes, held. by Martha Hilda, in. Texas. That record avas set a few 'days after Mrs. ■ Huddleston established an earlier mark in New York.
