“Why do you call him your honorable friend asked a voice at the Rrime Minister’s meeting at Whangarei last evening, when Mr. Coates had referred to Mr. H. E. Holland and the objectives of the Labor party.
“Mr. Holland is the leader oj his Majesty’s Opposition, and I always call him mv honorable friend.” Mr. Coates renlied. “As a matter of fact. I think Mr. Holland is a very good leader of the Opposition, and that he has done well there, so much so that I think he should remain as leader of the Opposition. (Applause) That’s the best term, Mr. Coates nc 'eader of the Government, Mr. Holland as leader of the Opposition.” (Renewed applause).
