Resisters were hustled off to the police station.
The police used a cafe, destined for the Communist headquarters, as .» trap allowing the “Reds” to report themselves therein, and taking them in custody as they made their exit.'■ The funeral ■ was carried "out-, with all decorum. under the surveillance of a wirelessly-equipped police aeroplane, enabling motor lorries - with police armed guards to forestall the Communists at strategical points and preventing rush tactics.
