WELLINGTON, Oct. 20, Tile Dominion Meteorologist’s summary and forecast are as follow: A depression is still covering the New Zealand area, with one low centre situated over the middle of the North Island and another one off the east coast of the south. A moderate anti-cyclone is moving off eastern Australia. Moderate to strong south-west to south winds, reaching gale force at exposed places. Seas will he rough in New Zealand waters, and strong southerly winds with rough seas m the eastern Tasman Sea, hut winds and sens decreasing. Weather still cloudy and unsettled with further rain in most districts, but improving shortly. Cold temperatures.
