A moderate anti-cyclone is moving off eastern Australia. Moderate to strong south-west to south winds, reaching gale force at exposed places. Seas will he rough in New Zealand waters, and strong southerly winds with rough seas m the eastern Tasman Sea, hut winds and sens decreasing. Weather still cloudy and unsettled with further rain in most districts, but improving shortly. Cold temperatures.
