Following the failure of Lady Bonn’s petition on the ground of Sir Max’s misconduct, he obtained a decree nisi for his wife’s misconduct with Arthur Marcus Hanbury. Petitioner’s counsel announced the withdrawal of the charge of misconduct, which was denied, against Sir Roland Watterhonse. It was announced that Sir Max did not desire to see his wife oppressed by a huge bill of costs, and was making an addition to the substantial income due under her marriage settlement.
