TALL HATS FOR HOME' SUMMER

•The low, tucked , crown, fitting closely to the head, has had its day, and the tall hat—a veritable chimney—has taken its place with a flourish of colorful trimming for spring days. Big brims have been largely to blame. Crowns have been made to hide insignificantly behind them, and, as for trimmings, they have also been lost sight of when decorating crowns. For so far brims have received all the attention •from' Dame Fashion, while crowns have been overlooked. POSITIONS' REVERSED.. Now brims will •be plain, and crowns ' lavishly embroidered. All 'that its left for the brim is; a sly little floral ornament pinned close to one ear'. The, tall crowns look like flower pots, when covered with violets or some other imitation design, and those that stand out. resemble chimneys with creepers trailing up one side. , ' ...
