The Pakura leaves Wellington tonight for Napier and Gisborne. The vessel arrives here on Friday and, on completion of discharge, returns to Wellington. • The Pukeko left for Westport last evening, and on arrival there loads coal for Waikokopu and Gisborne. The Putiki is bar-bound at Greymouth. She is loaded with a cargo of timber for Gisborne. The Tirca, due here on Thursday, leaves Auckland to-day for Hick’s Bay and Gisborne. The vessel sails the same Evening on the return trip north. The Gunbar left. Auckland yesterdayfor Coast bays. Gisborne and Napier. She is due here on Thursday. Tire Elsie Mary leaves Auckland today for Gisborne, and is due here on Thursday. The Waimea is expected to leave Auckland to-day with cargo for Gisborne and Napier. The Kahika, loading at southern Oorts for Napier and Gisborne, left Dunedin yesterday for Oamaru, thence Tiniaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is dud at Gisborne, about October 17.

TRANS-PACIFIC SERVICES. The Waite mat’a left San Francisco on Friday and should clear Los Angelos; to-day. She' is due at Auckland about November A, Napier Noverber 9, Lyttelton IN o vein her 14, Duiiadin Nov. 17, Nelson Nov. 24, and New Plymouth Nov. 29, and proceeds thence to Suva and Vancouver. The Waihemo left Suva on September 22 for Vancouver direct, whore she is due on October 13. The Wairuna left Dunedin on Saturday for New Plymouth, thence Auckland, Apia, Fanning Island and Vancouver. The Waiotapu left Wellington on September 29 for 1 Melbourne and Sydney. and was due at Melbourne on Sunday. The Waikawa left Auckland on October 4 for Nelson. Bluff, Melbourne, Sydney, Suva and Vancouver. The Hauraki, left Los Angeles on September, 19 for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday. She proceeds thence to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Vancouver.

NEW MOTOR SHIP FOR SOUTH AMERICAN TRADE. NELSON LINER LEAVES YARDS. (British Official "Wireless.! RUGBY, Oct. 7. The new 14,000-ton. Nelson liner, Highland Monarch, the first of five motor ships ordered by the company for their South American service, has completed her voyage from the yards of Messrs. Harlnnd and Wolff, Belfast, where she was built, to London, She jvill sail on October 18 on her first trip to Buenos Aires, which she is intended to make in about 19 days. The Highland Monarch is 520 ft. -in length, and 69ft. in beam, and has accommodation for 135 first-class passengers, 60 intermediate, and 600 emigrants. The vessel has one of the largest refrigerating installations afloat. . . ;
