Before the Magistrate's Court Henry Patrick Afcore, 38. pleaded guiltv to eight charges of breaking incl entering various houses early this month,"and committing theft. The police -said the accused travelled round as a. tinker. To gain entrance he broke the leadlights over doors oi- windows, and then undid the catch. In all he had taken £101) worth of goods and jewellery from eight houses. He was caught in the act at a Sydenham house. He was committed for sentence, no bad being applied for.
