With reference to the formation of a private financial company by Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., and a similar company in New York, tile Times.. .. says:. “The new company should find plenty of scope for its activities. It is proper that the company should ho ‘a private one, administered by experts and financed by wealthy- corporations. A financial corporation with expert advisors could usefully fill the gaps which now exists in the financial machinery of industry.’.’ The Daily Telegraph believes that under such practical guidance as this corporation commands the development of industries should bo materially increased. The Manchester Guardian says it is difficult to realise the place the corporation aspires to occupy in the economic organisation, But agrees that in the new industrial conditions there is scope for such a financial organisation with great re-, sources and technical experience.
