Trade figures for March show that imports decreased to the extent of £2.989.000. exports increased .£2,844,000 and re-exports decreased £496,000. The principal decreases were: Imports, dutiable food and drink £1,200.000; oil. seeds, etc. £1,392.000; iron, steel and manufactures thereof £1,428,000. Exports; Goal £1,211.000. The principal increases were; Imports, grain and flour £919.000; raw wool £1.855.000. Exports: Machinery £678,000; cotton, varus and manufactures' £809,000; vehicles £1.184,009.
