The various club competitions are now being continued after the Christmas holidays. Yesterday the club fours were advanced another stage when the fifth round was completed, with the following results: Dixon, Jones. Corson, Seymour (s) 20. v. Moncrieff, Clarkson, Crawsliaw, Hueston (s) 18. This game ended m a very close finish. Hueston was lying ’the game but Seymour with his last shot drew tho shot and won.
