The airship RIOO, Avliich is under construction for the Air Ministry at the Howden works of the Airship Guarantee Co., is expected to be completed by April. After unde racing Home trials she ivill probably make a demonstration flight across the Atlantic and Commander Burney, M.P., will leave next- week for America. Avliere he will discuss plans-for the future operations- of the airship. It is suggested that the vessel, Avliich will he the largest in the world should carry passengers across the Atlantic, the journey occupying 4S hours and the fare being approximately £l2O. The airship is 709 ft. long and is to lie driven by an engine developing ji total of 4200 horse *power. She will have accommodation for 100 passengers and-a crew of 50,—British Off. Wireless.
