EUROPE WILL COMBINE AGAINST UNITED STATES
That the European nations, sooner or later, will combine in a war against the United States is the startling declaration mads by Thcmas Edison in an article in the Popular Science Monthly, in which the veteran inventor states that he is engaged upon a search for a piant which would produce rubber quickly in America in the event of war with Europe.
"Don’t make any mistake about that war”, he says. "We may run aldng for a good many years without it, but sooner or later it will come, and the first thing they will do is to cut off our rubber supply.”
