(Special to the Times.)' , VVAIPIRO BA 1, Jan'. 2. ‘ Glorious' weather favored the opening to-day of the East Coast champ.ions.liii> anti handicap ...tennis tournament which is being played at Waipiro Bay. There has been a good attendance of spectators and as the entries exceed 120, the tournament, is one of the most ’ successful ever held here. Many Gisborne players have entered and there are several from as far away as Wellington.
