POLiif H-LITH LAN lAN DISP L'i'EAN INTERNATIONAL BASES. (United Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received Dec. a, 3.-If) p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 9. the Australian Press Association’s Geneva correspondent reports that Poland continues to monopolise the League Council’s activities, and it is no wonder. Comment is heard in the lobbies that- tlie League seems to* exist Tor. the hole purpose of settling Poland’s disputes with her neighbors. While M. Loudon was occupied all day in examining the documents bearing on the Pohsh-Lithuahian situation, and. preparing £ report thereon, the Council was agajn occupied with Poland's demands for her rights for anchorage lor her warships in the port- of Danzig. Following on a report-from the Chilean delegate. Senor Villegas, and an urgent recommendation from the Council, the disputants agreed to endeavor to draw up aii agreement, based on the rules of international law. under which it would bo possible for Polish vessels to be granted the desired facilities. Tlie Council decided to submit the thorny question of tho German minority schools in Polish Silesia to The Hague Court. It is now thought tlnu while the Council’s intervention in the PolishLithuanfati dispute will be directed to the resumption of more normal relations it is most unlikely that the League will interfere regarding the severance of consular and diplomatic, relations, in view of the fact that a similar state of affairs is not- unknown among the Great . Powers. Marshal Pißudski is expected to arrive to-day.—A.N.Z.C.A.
