The Governor-General, who is now convalescent, will leave Wellington with Her Excellency on .Tuesday evening next, December 13. ior a short stay at Polorous Sound, Their Excellencies will return to Wellington immediately before Christmas. The, garden party for which invitations were issued by Their Excellencies for November 22, but which had to he postponed on account of the Gover-nor-General’s illness, will now' beheld at Government House, Wellington, on Tuesday. January 10. Their Excellencies, therefore, ask that tho recipients of cards of invitation for the former date will kindly regard them as holding good for January 10.—P.A.
