“Paradise,” a First National picture which opened on Saturday night at Everybody's, with Milton Sills in the stellar role and Betty Bronson in the featured feminine lead, is a fast-moving, multi-colored drama ol London and the South Seas. 'Colorful South Sea Island scenes, a replica of London’s famous Beaux Arts Bail, one of the greatest screen battles in history between Milton Sills and Noah Beery; a coronation scene in which Milton Sills and Betty Bronson are crowned king and queen of a trop.cnl island, and a bitter struggle between a stolid, wealthy man and the ne’er-do-well son of an English nobleman. Those are a tew ot the highlights. Briefly, “Paradise” is. the story of the scapegoat son of an earl who. while browsing about London, making his living, by his wits, meets a former stage dancer who .s up against liard luck and is about to commit suicide. 1 bey marry' and sail to the South Seas, where the hero has been given an island by bis father provided lie can find it and find the buried deeds there. To tell the action on the island would spoil some of the greatest suspense one will ever sec in a picLnre.
