Present indications are for moderate to strong south-westerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and strong westerly winds hacking to south-westerly elsewhere ; weather wall he changeable, squally and colder generally, with heavy showers, particularly in the western and southern districts. The barometer is unsteady but will be rising everywhere soon.
