GOODSELL ACCEPTS CHALLENGE,

BARRY WANTS RACE LATER

(United Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received April 7, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON April, 6. Ernest Barry states that. Major Goodsell has cabled accepting his challenge for a. match, for the world's sculling title, but Barry cabled suggesting that a date in June is much too early. He suggests the end of Jlbly or the beginning of August. He adds that Hannan’s visit to America complicates matters. He is willing to participate in a, sweepstake, or to meet Hannan to decide who is to row the champion. Barry emphasises his ambition is to scull on the Parramatta, but he will not mind going to California, if ho is assured of a race for the title.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
