NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with “The Gisborne Harbor Board Enabling Act 1919“ and the amendments thereof and ‘The Rating Act 1925’ it is the intention of The Gisborne Harbor Board by a Special Order or Resolution at lvo next meeting to be held at its Office Read’s Quay Gisborne on TUESDAY, the 26th day of April, 1927, at 1U o’clock ip the forenoon, to make and levy on the Capital Value of all the rateable property in the Gisborne Harbor District as defined by: “The Gisborne Harbor Board Enabling Act 1919“ and its various amendments (and as altered by Order-in-Councii which appears in the New Zealand Gazette 1923 at page 19) a Special Rate-of fifty-one one hundred and twenty-eighths of one penny in the pound. This Rate is for the purpose or providing the deficiency mentioned in Clause 19 of “The Gisborne Harbor •Board Enabling Act 1919’’ and so provide for interest and sinking fund on the Gisborne Harbor Board 19241954 Loan, and in &nd by such Special Order or Resolution the Board will make the direction for such levy. The rate is to be for the period commencing on the First Day of April 1927 and ending on the Thirty-first/ Day of March 1928 and is to be due and payable in one sum within fourteen days from the Thirty-first Day of MAY, 1927. The Valuation Roll of the Harbor District is open for inspection at the Office of the Valuation Department, Read’s Quay, Gisborne, during office hours (or at the Board’s office). In the above Special Order or Resolution the Board proposes to make a rebate of five per cent, on all rates paid to the Board on or before the 30th Day of JUNE, 1927.
