BIENNIAL CLASSIFICATION.
OPPOSITION FROM PAHIATUA,
PAHIATUA, April 4. The annual meeting of the local branch of the Educational Institute supported remits to come before the annual conference in May, opposing biennial grading. It views with alarm the tendency of certain Education Boards to discriminate in appointments as between the married and the single woman, as being cases, where such - discrimination nullifies the grading list. —(P.A.
