RANDWICK RACES. (Received Jan. 26, 8.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 26. Fine weather ruled for Anniversary Day. Crowds thronged the seaside and picnic resorts, sporting events and the racing at Rand wick. The Adrian Ivnox Stakes resulted. ■—Persuasion 8.5 1, Calmest 8.15 2, Lady Constance So. Persuasion took the lead after the first furlong and was never headed. Won by a length and a half. Time: 1.37 J SYDNEY, Jan. 26. At Randwick, the Anniversary Handicap resulted: Bacchus 8.12 1, Piastoon 8.7 2, Donald 8.4 3. Piastoon made most of the running. Bacchus lay last till passing the distance, and then put in a phenomenally fast run and won bv two lengths. Time: 2.37 J
