The Adrian Ivnox Stakes resulted. ■—Persuasion 8.5 1, Calmest 8.15 2, Lady Constance So. Persuasion took the lead after the first furlong and was never headed. Won by a length and a half. Time: 1.37 J SYDNEY, Jan. 26. At Randwick, the Anniversary Handicap resulted: Bacchus 8.12 1, Piastoon 8.7 2, Donald 8.4 3. Piastoon made most of the running. Bacchus lay last till passing the distance, and then put in a phenomenally fast run and won bv two lengths. Time: 2.37 J
