SPLIT OVER INDUSTRIAL MISSION TO AMERICA (United Press Assn.—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Jan. 28. The Victorian -branch of the Seamen’s Union decided to support the Sydney branch in a,ny action taken to prevent the sailing' of the Australian industrial mission to America SYDNEY, Jan. 26. The monthly stop-work meeting of the Sydney branch of the .Seamen’s Union decided that no direct action would be taken against the steamer on which the industrial mission sail? for America. Mr. Walsh stated after the meeting that they could not see that any vital principle of the Labor movement was at stake.—U.P.A.
