PROPOSED NATIONALIST-COUN-TRY PARTY AGREEMENT.
SOLID FRONT TO LABOR AT
ELECTION
(Received Dec. 1, "10.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 1. At the annual conference of the Nationalist party Mr Bavin informed delegates that he had been in negotiation with the leader of the Country party, and was confident of a completely satisfactory agreement for mutual co-operation and the elimination of duplication. Unity in the selection of- candidates for particular seats would be arrived at, thus presenting a united front to the Labor party at the elections. — -U.P.A.-
