SIX-ROOMED HOUSE BADLY
DAMAGED

A six-rcomed house in Lansdown, a residential suburb of Mnsterton, was gutted by fire at 6.30 this evening. The house was owned and occupied by Mr H. J. Chesterman, who with his family, was home at the time of the outbreak. The fire bud a very strong bold when the alarm was given, and though the brigade was successful in suppressing it promptly the whole of the interior was demolished. Considerable clothin <t and linen were salvaged, but most of the furniture was destroyed. The house and contents were insured, but the amounts are not available.—P. A.
