LONDON, Oct. 13

The Vice-Chancellor of Oxford, ire a valedictory Latin oration, specially referred to the association of the Queenslander, Stephenson, and another student, with Communism, declaring lie was glad that neither of the students who were associated in the illegal conspiracy was an Englishman.

The Vice-Chancellor went on to express alarm at the rapid increase in women graduates, saving: “I did my utmost to secure the admission of women for degrees. I do not regret it, but nobody foresaw women would attend as they at present do. They total one-fifth of our students.”
