DESERTERS ARRESTED 'AFTER
TWO YEARS
POLICE NOT NOT PRESS V CHARGE.
NAPIER, Oct. 13. . Ronald Edward Ha'nkey and Henry Jaines Lemon, who deserted front the Remuera at IVellington two years ago were arrested here and ap- ; peared at the Police Court, to-day. The police said accused were now in steady’employment and there was no wish to press the charge. Consequently they were convicted and discharged P.A. ».
