ENGINEERS ON STRIKE
DISPUTE OVER BOY LABOR IN SYDNEY WORKS REPLACED BY MALTESE AND CREEKS SYDNEY. Oct, 12. „ Arising out of the dispute over tUo alleged emiToyment of boy labor on machine drills, the engineers at the Dobson Worm aid Company ha ve struck. Pickets posted outside the works reported to the Labor Council's disputes committee that Maltese and Greeks had been engaged hv the management, contending that this was done for the purpose of Wreaking the strike. The rest of the union members employed l>y the firm have been withdrawn. The disputes committee proposes to appoint, an organiser who is capable of speaking to foreigners in their own language to represent the position to them. P.P.A.
