Excavating a tumulus near Duxton, they have discovered the skeleton of a man oft Tin in height anu the finding of flint tools buried with the bodv indicates that the mn belongs to the early Bronze Age—from 1500 to 2000 B.C. The tools found include a runt- savknifo. 3in long and -|in wide, which experienced archaeologists regard as the best specimen of its kniu round in the country. One side is pointed like a knife aiid the other has 12 perfect- serrations.
