CHAMPIONSHIPS FIXED FOR OCTOBER.
- WELLINGTON, April 1.3. At a meeting of the New Zealand •Golf'Council.-the Wairoa (Hawke’s Bay), Rarkvale (Hastings), arid Waifnafino (Raetihi) * Clubs elected members. It was reported that three professionals are at present touring the country- ..chibs under arrangements made with" the Association. The Lindsay Ross tour' comprises Hokitika,
Blenheim, Marlborough; F. M. Dean is doing To Kuiti, Otorohunga, Tauraarunui, AVaihi and Wliangarei; John Lambie lias gone to Tolaga Bay,.Tokomaru Bay, Onotiki, Whakatane and possibly i’auranga. The Hates of the New Zealand open and amateur championships tournaments to be played on the Miramar (Wellington) links, were fixed as follows : Friday, October 15, to Oct. 23, both inclusive.—P.A.
