APPOINTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL COMMISSIONER.
(Received April 14, 1 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 13. Mr. A. B. Piddington was appointed Industrial Commisisoner under the now Arbitration Act for tlm period of five years. After April. lo the Industrial Commissioner will supersede the present Board of Trade and. tlie State Arbitration Court Judges and in addition to being the final arbiter in appeals in industrial cases will fix the living wage—U.P.A.
