It is useless to preach the laws of health while people are crowded into miserable, sordid and unhealthy tene--111 The new Health Society has adopted the motto “The first wealth is health,” It includes eminent scientists doctors and business men, and has launched' a campaign with the aim of disseminating knowledge of the simple laws of health and: preventing instead of curing disease.
