The Times’ political corespondent says: The forthcoming Army estimates are expected to show a reduction of about £1,000,000, but this is solely due to administrative economy, not to any reduction in the army's strength. ‘There is general agreement in official circles that in view of present commitments, the. army fiirhting line cannot be reduced.— The Times.
