UNIVERSITY SENSATION

HALDANE MAY APPEAL

LONDON. Dec. 29

Mr Haldane’s dismissal at Cambridge University on the ground that he was co-respondent in a divorce suit, is widely discussed in science circles, especially in the light of Cambridge’s loss of a brilliant bio-chemi-cal research worker. It is understood Mr Haldane will exercise the right of appeal to a Court of five Judges elected by the Senate. This privilege lias never hitherto been exercised. — A. and N.Z.C.A.
