Bondholders and others interested in N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd., will appreciate; the progress .which has- -been made in planting operations. A total of 9700 acres has been planted with Pinus Insignis. Other pioneer companies have also planted extensively. Afforestation Ltd., lias planted 2000 acres, while Putaruru Forests Ltd., has also ( completed 1000 acres, and now negotiations have. been made by N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd., whereby <15,000 acres will be planted in the next planting season. All these companies are in the Smith Wylie group. An excellent series of views illustrating the work was published in the. Auckland Weekly News (1/10/25). Every phase of the planting operations is depicted. The extensive panoramic views of nurseries and planted areas define clearly the magnitude of the work already accomplished. To protect Bondholders in N.Z.
