Edgar Garbish' (U.S.A.) —6—2. 6—l At the Seabright tournament, in the third round of the singles, Norris Williams (Philadelphia) defeated Hawkes—7—s , 6 —3; Richards tie-, feated Patterson—6—3. -3—2. INTER-ZONE DAVIS CUP MATCHES. (A. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) NEW YORK, July 29. The dates for the inter-zone Davis Cup matches have been officially changed to September 4. 5, and 7, the last date: being a holiday, Labor Day, on which good tennis is customarily provided at Forest Hills.
