The Kaliika is expected to complete discharge to-day and. sail 101 V clhngton. .. , The War.aka left Dunedin at 11 p.m. on Wednesday for Gisborne and Napier, via ports. . Tho Federal Steam Navigation Co.’s liner Ruapehu is expected to arrive at Gisborne about August -t to load frozen meat and general cargo for West Coast of United Kingdom ports and U.S.A. . Tho New Zealand Shipping Company’s Remuera will be loading frozen meat and general cargo at Gisborne about Monday next, and the Turakina will be loading for London about Seotember 3. The Putiki is expected to arrive from Napier to-day and returns to the same port to-morrow. The Koutunui arrives from Napier to-day and returns to that port at- : 11 n.m. The Awahou is expected to leave Auckland to-day for the Coast and Gisborne, and is due next Tuesday. The Pnkura is due at Wellington on Monday to load for Napier and Gisborne. j

FAIRBURN REFLOATED. SAILS UNDER OWN POWER. (PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WHAKATANE, July 30. The Fnirburn was refloated at midnight last night and sailed under her own power in the direction of Tauranga. Captain Teixeirn is making a good recovery from his injuries in tho Whakatane hospital.

Mr. Dow (representing Mr. Elder, the Australian* representative), and Mr. EVans, British Consul, together with representatives of large export houses, attended a luncheon aboard tho Port Hobart, the new motor slup of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, which is making its maiden v ova go to Australia. Exporters spoke expressing the keenest desire to increase trade between the United States and Australia and New Zealand as early as possible.
