At the laAA'n tennis tournament at 'Wimbledon the. strongest entrants for the mixed doubles are Borotra, Avith Mile. Lenglen, Lycett and Mrs. Ly-c-ett. Washer and Mi’s. Satterhwaite. Spence and Miss Culver. The strongest of the ladies’ doubles entrants are the holders, Misses Lenglen and Rvan; Mrs. Lycett and Miss Culver.

At the Eastbourne tennis tournament, in the doubles, Britain defeated America, Godfree and Wheatley heating Hennessey and Casey,—-J—6, o—4, ' ll 9 ; 4—6, 6—3. Britain leads bv two matches.
MID-PACIFIC TOURNAMENT. MEN’S DOUBLES WINNERS. (UNITED I’EESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT' HONOLULU, June 17. Harvey Snodgrass (Los Angeles) and Richard Cooke_ (Honolulu) won the mid-Pacific tennis doubles. They will contest the singles title.
