The Prince of YY'nles, after a long ride across wild, rugged country, reached Mbabane, the capital of Swaziland, where he received an impressive welcome, which revealed the native in all his primitive barbaric splendour. Four thousand Swazi warriors in full war drees, drawn up in lines half a mile long, gave a Royal salute, ending in a. shrill piercing whistle. Paramount Chief Sobsuza did the honors, wearing a smart grey lounge suit and a grey hat. He was assisted by the Queen’s mother, whose head dress included the red feather of the Rain-Maker, for which she is famed. The Prince was" greatly interested in an inspection of the Swazi regiments.
