HIDE AND SHEEPSKIN SALE REPORT.

Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and Co., under date Wellington, Fob. it), submit the following report: We offered a catalogue of 1500 sheepskins to the usual attendance of buyers. -Compet ton was fairly keen at a lower range' of prices in dry skins, these declining about 2d per lb cn .ast sale’s values. There was very little change m salted skins, wh eh sold at very close to last sale’s prices-; competition for these was exceptionally keen. The range of pr ces is as given below:— Sheepskins.—Hal: bred 19d ; fine crossbred, 17 Jd to ISpl; medium con r e crossbred, 14d to lOffd; short to half wools, 1 0.Vd to loci; lambs, 12k! to lSd; dead and damaged crossbred. 12fkl to lid ; inferior and badly damaged, 5:1 to 10MI; pelts Si!;cl to 1.3 d; damp, salted and green, 3s Bcl to 15s 2d ; pelts, sa tod, 4s 6d to 6s 4d : lambs, sailed, 2s 10J to 9s 3d.
