The unfortunate grl, it is stated, was trying to get from one end of the fence to the other at the backyard of their borne, which is situated in English Street, Kogarah, She suddenly slipped and then toppled forward into a neighbor’s yard. She fell heavily on to the stake, which penetrated her stomach for a distance ot about fi foot.

Her frightened, brother ran for assistance. and the St. George Ambulance was called, and treated then girl, afterwards talcing her to thehcsp'tal.
