SECOND DAY’S RESULTS

OTAKI. June 4. 'Following are the results of the second day’s racing -at Ota'ki : Hurdlo Handicap—Nukumai 1, Solfanello 2, Admiral G'odrington 3. All started. From the start Labor Morn led Mangawhero. with Nukumai next. The latter took command seven furlongs from home and was never headed, winning comfortably by a length. Mery Bells was foui'th. Time: 3min 5 4-osee. Tainui Hack Handicap.—Wassail 1, Imperial Spark 2, Carnbee 3. From the. start Wassail and Loved One led. The former was never headed and won by nearly two lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time: Imin 19 2-ssec. Huia Handicap.—Lady Ben 1, Arch Salute 2, Correspondent 3. Merry Hay and Hipo were scratched. From: the start Lady Ben went to the front and was never headed, winning by two lengths, with Correspondent the same distanced away third. Irapuka was fodrth. Time: lmin 50sec. Rangiuru Hack Handicap.—Kalakaua 1 Sensible 2, Bonrina 3. All started. From a good start Sensible led and continued in front till near home, when Kalakaua came away and won by a length, with the same distance between second and third. Potoanui was fourth. Time: lmin .50 l-ssce. Rahui Handicap.—Mireusonta 1, Ecuador 2, Koodoo 3. All started. The winner led throughout and won by a: length. Ecuador ra,n into second place after a good race with Koodoo. Hipo was fourth. Time: lmin 19 l-ssec. Ohau Welter Handicap.—Carnbeei 1. Dominant 2, Bright Eyes 3. All started. Alabama led the field, followed by Panim. Once in the home turns Carnbee and Dominant! came through, the former winning by a head. Bright Eves was a length back third, followed lay Alabama, Time: 'lmin 35 2-ssec. Hack Scurry.—Arsene Lupin 1, Tikima 2, Maidos 3. All started. Lipsol and Luarne led, but in the straight the field was well bunched. However, Arsene Lupin camei away and won easily by three lengths, two lengths between second and third. Time: lmin Bsec. —Press Assn.
